The Mix will be a state-of-the-art £5m youth facility at 127 Ipswich Street, Stowmarket; scheduled to open in January 2014.

Young people from the Stowmarket area will have a safe space to explore their talents, develop new skills and meet friends; with access to a multi-media centre and recording suite, art studio, café, IT facilities and a hall for dancing, performance and sport.

Although The Mix building will not open till 2014, young people aged 13 – 18 can join now music, digital art, film and cooking activities with young people in England and France; as part of the Cyber Youth Connection project.

The Mix is being developed by Suffolk County Council, and supported by Mid Suffolk District Council and Stowmarket Town Council.
